I’m sick of sticking my tongue in my cheek,
Trying not to spit at your hypocrisy.
Dress it up in any colour you desire, you desire.
I can’t bear to watch you walk away without a fucking smile on your face,
So I stay a while and disintegrate.
Disintegrate with me.
You won’t listen beyond the surface.
Watch it ripple along, destructive.
(Disintegrate with me.
Won’t you disintegrate with me?)
You will never belong to this family; to the ones you love.
I don’t really want to give you a reason yet;
It’s not as if you’ve ever given me a reason to care.
It’s not as easy to forgive the one that left me here for dead.
So, you wanna see this?
Look at what you’ve done.
You’ve gotta see this.
Uncovered all the webs you’ve spun.
You wanna see this?
Look at what you’ve done.
Oh, you’ve gotta see this.
I’ve uncovered all the webs you’ve spun.
You can’t deny that you hang on every word I say.
(We all need someone, we all need someone to stay)
If you wanna meet me halfway I need something,
Anything more than your fake apology.
I don’t really want to give you a reason yet;
It’s not as if you’ve ever given me a reason to care.
It’s not as easy to forgive the one that left me here for dead.
Disintegrate with me.
Won’t you disintegrate with me?
You wanna see this?
Look at what you’ve done.

The whole album is pure gold! Sometimes I just sit down and listen to the whole album and do nothing else. Awesome rhythms, riffs and Courtney's golden voice! <3 Pazi

Realistically, I should have bought this album after the first 100 scrobbles of In Reach (Out of Touch), but it's never too late to do the right thing. This has a different atmosphere (and story) than The Lost City, but it's just as good and just as melodic. porcelainheart-
